How to use:
1. Skin preparation:
If necessary, shave the hair to ensure adhesiveness of the dressing.
Carefully disinfect the wound, rinse and dry well.
Proceed, if necessary, to hemostasis of the wound (stop bleeding)
2. Apply the dressing
3. Remove the dressing: to remove it respecting the skin, see the diagram.
Precautions for use:
Avoid tensions
Renew the dressing, depending on the method of use, on average every 2-3 days
In case of doubt about the state of the compress after bathing, showering or balneotherapy
In case of saturation of the compress due to bleeding or exudates.
Under medical prescription, the dressing can be kept in place for a maximum of 7 days.
In all cases, regularly monitor the wound or puncture site and the surrounding area for any signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, unusual odor, or drainage.
In case of doubt, contact a doctor.
Do not use the dressing on infected wounds, infected puncture sites, deep, bleeding or heavily exuding wounds.
Do not use to cover central venous catheters.
Single use (otherwise there is risk of infection) - do not re-sterilize - check the integrity of the individual packaging before use.
Do not use for more than 30 consecutive days.
Do not use in newborns weighing less than 3.5 kg
Do not expose to light for a long time.
Composition:
Polyurethane film coated with an acrylic adhesive compound with high skin tolerance.
Integrated non-woven absorbent pad covered by a protective non-adhesive polyethylene layer.
