URGO Waterproof Burns and Superficial Wounds relieves pain and promotes healing

Its tulle gauze contains Lipidocolloid Technology (TLC), a unique combination of hydrocolloid particles and petroleum jelly. This formula relieves pain and promotes healing. In addition, the dressing does not adhere to the wound and allows a painless removal.

How to use

For a superficial 2nd degree burn: Immediately immerse the wound in cold (not frozen) water for 15 minutes to limit the burn from spreading. If a blister has formed, do not pierce it.

Composition:

-A Waterproof adhesive exterior adhesive backing

-A thick absorbent pad

-A non-adhesive and aerated Lipidocolloid tulle gauze, composed of a mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid particles and petroleum jelly.

Format:

Sterile dressings in individual sachets.

Box of 6 dressings, small format (dressing: 5 x 7 cm / tulle: 2.7 x 4.5 cm)

Box with 4 dressings, large format (dressing: 10 x 7 cm / tulle: 7.3 x 4.5 cm)

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Clean the wound with water or saline solution. Disinfect the wound and the surrounding area with an alcohol-free antiseptic; in case of burns, never use eosin colored antiseptics. Rinse with water or a saline solution.

2. Using a sterile compress, carefully dry the lesion and the surrounding area. In case of bleeding, stop compression bleeding.

3. Open the envelope and remove the dressing. The Dressing should be used immediately after opening the sachet.

4. Apply the dressing carefully, do not touch the sticky part with your fingers and make sure to center the pad (the white part) on the lesion:

 Remove the first protective tab, apply the dressing, smoothing it towards the edges to avoid creases and tension in the skin and in the dressing.

Remove the second tab in the same way.
