URGO Filmogel® Canker sores and small mouth wounds is indicated for the treatment of canker sores and small mouth wounds. It is a liquid dressing that once applied, forms a thin, flexible and resistant protective film even while you eat, for a quick treatment of canker sores.

URGO FIlmogel® Canker sores and small mouth wounds provides fast and prolonged pain relief. The protective film protects the injury from external aggressions (food, drinks, dental prostheses ...) and favors the healing of canker sores.

TREAT AN AFTA OR ANOTHER WOUND

How to use:

1. Apply the product on the lesion with the help of the spatula-applicator so that it completely covers the entire area to be treated. (Previously remove the excess of the product by resting the spatula on the edge of the bottle)

2. Let dry for 10 seconds keeping the mouth open until a visible film forms. If the lesion is not well covered, repeat the operation.

3. Apply URGO AFTAS Filmogel® as often as necessary. Up to 4 times a day, preferably before eating, until healing is complete (3 to 5 days).

4. As long as the film is visible, it is not necessary to proceed to a new application.

5. Disinfection of the spatula is guaranteed thanks to the composition of the product. Therefore, it is not necessary to clean the spatula after each application.

6. Keep the container tightly closed after each application.

Contraindications:

Do not apply in case of severe canker sores (> 1cm) or herpetiform (very small and numerous canker sores) that need medical advice. Do not apply on infected wounds, burns or deep wounds (with bleeding). Do not use in case of allergy to salicylic derivatives.

Due to the absence of studies in pregnant or lactating women, the use of this product is not recommended.

Precautions:

Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
