Ingredients
Water, alcohol, Vellosilla (Hieracium pilosella L.) aerial parts 20%, honey.
The active principles contained in this plant are: flavonoids (luteoloside, glucoside and some apigenin), tannins, curarins (piloselin), polyphenolic acids (caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid), triterpenic, sesquiterpenic and manganese saponosides.
The flavonoids, exert a favoring action of the diuresis both quantitatively and qualitatively (increase of the elimination of chlorides and nitrates); polyphenolics and curarins, a strictly antibiotic and spasmolytic action.
This plant, used in its entirety for the preparation, can be useful as an adjuvant in urinary lithiasis, in water retention, in hyperazoemia, in oliguria, in kidney inflammation, in cystitis, in polyuria, in obesity and in gout.
