Ingredients
Water, alcohol, Myrrh (Commiphora molmol Engl.) Resin 20%, honey.
The resin used is obtained by spontaneous sweating or by making incisions on the bark of the trunk and branches, causing them to be discharged through the resin canals.
Contains essential oil, sesquiterpenes, steroids, carbohydrates, resins with comniforic and comniforinic acids, furanosendesmanolides and lindestrenas.
It has tonic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, stimulating properties.
Myrrh is commercially available in the form of spherical granules or tan colored masses.
The mother tincture is usually used as a component for mouthwashes (gargles).
Finally, this plant can be useful as an adjuvant in inflammation of the mouth and throat.
