Ingredients
Water, glycerol, alcohol, macerates of: Linden (Tilia tomentosa Moench) buds 60%, Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha Medicus) buds, Birch (Betula pubescens Ehrh) buds, Black Ontano (Alnus glutinosa Gaertn.) Buds; honey, mixture of natural aromas.
Linden is indicated in the multiple facets of neurovegetative dystonia, thanks to the more than demonstrated sedative and spasmolytic properties, partly attributable to farnesol, a terpene with neurosedative properties; acting at the level of serotonin, to which it contributes to increase, improving mood tone and performing anxiolytic and mildly antidepressant action. For this reason, linden is very useful in anxiety syndromes, in cardiac erethism that almost always accompanies these states, in arterial hypertension sustained by stress, in insomnia, etc. In sleep disorders, it favors taking sleep and contributes to increasing the duration of sleep. Experiments carried out on guinea pigs have shown that the sedative activity of Tilia tomentosa, beginning one hour after oral treatment, persists for 24 hours. Its yemoderivative does not alter the dream activity, excluding a somniferous activity; for this reason, it can be used both in children and in the elderly.
Hawthorn is an important natural medicine for the cardiovascular system, it shows cardiac sedative, antihypertensive and antispasmodic action. Apparently the yemoderived, in a study conducted by the Università di Messina, seems to be endowed as a whole, with a better cardiovascular activity, compared to other parts of the plant.
