Composed of Creapure® pH 10, Alca-Creatin Megaplus, a double buffer system, a mixture of disodium carbonate and disodium bicarbonate. This combination allows balancing the acid synthesis that occurs in sports.
The double buffer system is similar to the one used by our bodies to prevent blood acidification in situations of maximum effort.
The creatine monohydrate that is part of Creapure® pH 10 increases the concentration of creatine in the cells and, with it, the ability to produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the only source of energy for the body's cells.
The sodium content of the formulation is decisive in the bioavailability and absorption of creatine by muscle cells. This is possible because the absorption of creatine takes place in the small intestine, via processes of active, saturable and electrogenic Na + / Cl- / creatine transport, which is located in the brush border membrane of the intestine.
Unlike other alkaline creatines, Alca-Creatin Megaplus minimizes the conversion of creatine to creatinine in the stomach, ensuring that higher levels of biologically active creatine exist in the body for a longer time.
