To achieve the delight in an infusion and the maximum curative efficacy, it is necessary to put a lot of knowledge and care into the preparation. The history of healing herbal teas from Salus began 100 years ago, when medical doctor Otto Greither made the first infusion from it. The Munich healthy mix was a formula that stimulated the metabolism and helped eliminate uric acid, all of which were part of the “Cura Salus”. To make this infusion Greither mixed twenty different herbs such as: anise, fennel, cumin, pansy, yarrow and blackberry leaves.
In 1916 Greither opened the Salus factory in Munich's Türkenstraße to market its "Cura Salus". Those tasty and restorative infusions immediately gained many followers. In 1930 there were already 23 different Salus herbal infusions, and the vast majority already came from crops free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
